Pupils should realize that they are responsible to the school authorities only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior outside . Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of pupil shall make hi9m liable to disciplinary action. Parents or guardians are given to understand that they cannot dictate to the management and that the management has a right to say on what conditions it will admit or retain pupil in their schools.

- The course of studies includes Moral Instruction, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science, History, Geography, Hindi, Odia, English Language, English Literature, and Physical Training. Great stress is placed on co-curricular activities in order to help the student develop in all aspects. The medium of instruction is English.
- Holy Family School expects the pupils and the parents willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
- Students, whenever they come to school, must wear the uniform prescribed for the seasons. Those who are not dressed in correct uniform may be excluded from the class or even sent home.
- Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience, disrespect towards the members of the staff and bad moral influence on others will lead to dismissal. The pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school.
- Repeated absence, or absence for more than ten consecutive days without proper leave application renders a student liable to have her / his name struck off the rolls.
- Special arrangements for examination cannot be made for pupils who for any reason, are absent for any of the tests or examinations.
- Absence/leave in the examination will be treated as having received no marks in it.
- A student who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in this school.
- Any student found resorting to unfair means in any examination will not be allowed to write the rest of the papers in that term examination and will not be allowed to continue studies in the school in the next session.
- Students are not allowed to be absent on the closing day/reopening day or whenever there is a school function. Otherwise, he/she will be required to pay a fine, whatever the school stipulates.
- The amount of fees are subject to changes from time to time due to the increasing cost of maintenance and other expenses.
- Parents and students are also bound by the rules and regulations mentioned in the
- 85% attendance is necessary for promotion to the next class.
- Students are not allowed to take tuitions from the teachers of the school.
- Parents are requested to encourage their children to take part in co-curricular activities.
- Transport – Cycles must be kept on the stands provided by the school . Cycles found outside will be confiscated. Parents are requested not to allow children to use motorised vehicles. If they come to the school riding or driving a vehicle, disciplinary action will be taken.
- During class time , no student leaves the school premises without the principal’s permission. Students may not leave the classroom without the teacher’s permission, which ordinarily will not be granted.
- A student must look after his own belongings : Blazer , raincoats , caps , umbrellas , water bottles , Tiffin boxes etc. and all books must be marked with the name and class of the owner. The school does not make itself responsible for books or other articles lost or stolen.
- Student should not possess tazos , Pokemon cards or any other type of plying cards , personal diaries and other electronics gadgets particularly smart watch , mobile phone video games. Such articles will be confiscated.
- All students must take care of school property including the chair , table, bench, desk , smart board books etc. . Those who damage or destroy school property will have to make good the damage done . If no students own up to the damage done , a common fine will be charged for all.
- All the students should have their own school diary and they should bring it to school daily.
- Regular attendance and study habits , prompt obedience , courtesy in speech and conduct , cleanliness of dress and person are expected from each student . Hence irregular attendance , habitual idleness , unsatisfactory application to studies , disobedience , objectionable moral influence and unsatisfactory conduct in and out of the school will justify the dismissal of a boy/ girl.
- Students coming to school without doing their home work , without books or found misbehaving in class are likely to keep after school hours .
