Administration & objectives: Holy  Family  English  Medium  School, Nayagarh is managed by The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cuttack- Bhubaneswar. While preparing the students for the Indian Certificate Of Secondary Education (ICSE), the school aims at their all-round development. The active participation and co-operation of parents are essential for the success of our efforts   

ICSE :The Indian Certificate Of Secondary Education provides courses in general education in accordance with the recommendations of the Kothari Commission through the medium of English. The final ICSE examination presupposes a school course of ten years duration (I-X). the ICSE examinations are conducted by the council for the Indian Certificate Examinations which is recognized by an Act of the parliament as one of the All India Examining Bodies.

  • English must be spoken at all times in the school
  • The age of the child must be 2+ onwards. Xerox copies of Birth certificate, Aadhar card, and a recent passport-size photograph of the child should  be submitted at the time of  
  • Each child must wear the identity card. ID cards are available at the school office. Children without the identity card and school uniform will not be admitted to class.
  • As per the list displayed on the notice board, students are requested to purchase the books and note books from the school itself. Please make sure that your ward’s name is written on the books, note books and other belongings.
  • Each child must bring his/her Tiffin, water bottle and napkin everyday to the school.
  • Students should arrive at the school at 7.50 a.m . Late comers attendance will not be mention in the students register .
  • The Principal is available between 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on all school days . At other times parents are required to make previous appointments.
  • Office time will be 8.30 a.m – 10.30a.m,
  • Parents are expected inculcate regular study habits & discipline in their children. They should see that their children prepare their lessons, which ought to be noted down by the message .They should spend at least two and half hours for study at home especially of higher classes. Parents are requested to encourage their children to take part in co-curricular activities.
  • Parents are informed that occasionally teachers send report and messages in the Calendar. Hence parents should check their ward’s Calendars and messages from time to time. Progress reports are issued after each examination. Parents are particularly requested to sign such reports and messages. Failure to do so may put their children to great inconvenience.
  • Parents and guardians should bring any complaints they may have to the Principal and not to the teachers. Parents/guardians and others may not see child or their teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal. Since members of the staff may only be interviewed when they are not teaching, an appointment with them should be made beforehand.
  • Parents/guardians are requested to be present in school when called for, after examinations, to meet teachers about their wards’ progress.
  • No school business will be transacted on holidays and after school hours .
